Freshly graduated from the Australian Academy of Country Music and a finalist in Brisbane City Council’s QUBE Effect, Hartwig sold out the first print of her debut, physical exclusive Country/Folk album: Take Me South.

To celebrate, Ella Hartwig is hosting a headline show in Brisbane/Meanjin on February 22.

Described by the Cooktown Weekly as continuing “to make Cooktown proud after being selected for two prestigious Australian music development programs”, Hartwig has made the bold choice to release her debut 13-track Country/Folk record as a physical exclusive.

Mark your calendar for February 22, to celebrate Ella’s birthday and her album Take Me South. “Two years of writing and seventeen months of recording into 44-minutes of sound and a square package” - Live Wire, 2024.

“Not everyone comes from a small town, but everyone comes from somewhere. I feel super lucky to be proud of the remote area that I grew up in and the support that flourished from that”.
